? Pay Rate: £32 per hour
? Contract: 3-month initial contract (37 hours per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Learning Disabilities and Neurodiversity Team in Southampton. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities while promoting independence and person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
? Court of Protection Applications - For CoM DoLS.
? Safeguarding assessments to ensure individuals safety and well-being.
? Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning.
? Mental Capacity Assessments and best interest decision-making.
? Creative problem-solving to explore community support, technology, and informal networks before commissioned services.
? Multi-agency working with families, carers, and professionals.
? Ensuring all electronic records are up to date and accurate.
About You:
? Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with SWE registration.
? Experience in learning disabilities and neurodiversity.
? Knowledge of CoM DoLS, Care Act, and Safeguarding.
? Strong assessment and case management skills.
? Ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals.
