? Hiring: Team Manager - Referral and Assessment Team ?

? Location: Town Hall, Mulberry Place, Tower Hamlets, E14 2BG
? Pay Rate: £44.50 per hour
? Contract: Locum

Key Responsibilities:
? Team Leadership: Manage and supervise a team of social workers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery.
? Assessment Oversight: Oversee the timely completion of assessments in line with legislative frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring childrens needs are accurately identified and addressed.
? Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with schools, health services, law enforcement, and other external agencies to provide comprehensive support for children and families.
? Case Management: Allocate and monitor cases within the team, ensuring timely interventions and adherence to statutory requirements.
? Quality Assurance: Ensure all assessments and interventions meet local authority and regulatory body quality standards.
? Professional Development: Provide regular supervision and support to team members, fostering continuous professional development and reflective practice.

Requirements:
? Current registration with Social Work England (or relevant regulatory body).
? Substantial management experience in childrens social care, particularly within duty and assessment teams.
? Strong leadership abilities, communication skills, and proficiency in risk assessment and decision-making.
? Commitment to professional development and staying updated with current social care legislation.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities effectively.
? Compassion, resilience, and dedication to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children.
