? Location: Central Bedfordshire (Hybrid - Home & Office-Based)
? Rate: £38 p/h
? Hours: 37 hours per week
? Contract: Hybrid - Minimum office attendance once per month
About the Role:
Central Bedfordshire Council is looking for passionate and experienced Social Workers to join our Children's Locality Team. We are committed to providing high-quality support for children and families while fostering strong, lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
? Work with children and families from assessment onwards, ensuring meaningful and sustained support.
? Apply a strength-based approach using various social work theories and models to deliver ambitious interventions.
? Manage Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Court Work cases.
? Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure timely interventions and positive outcomes for children.
? Contribute to Central Bedfordshire's vision of achieving an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
Requirements:
? Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
? Minimum 1-year post-qualifying experience in Children's Social Care.
? Strong knowledge of legislation, safeguarding procedures, and social work frameworks.
? Experience working with CIN, CP, and Court Work.
? Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
