Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Children's Disability Service. This role is now a full-time position and offers an umbrella pay rate of £38 per hour.

Contract: Minimum 3 months, subject to review

Key Responsibilities:
Work within the Children's Disability Service to assess and support children with disabilities and complex health needs.
Apply the Signs of Safety methodology to work collaboratively with families and professionals.
Manage a caseload, conducting statutory assessments and developing child-centered care plans.
Support children in need of early intervention, child protection, or those in care proceedings.
Promote independence and inclusion through the Empowered Futures Agenda.
Work in a hybrid model, balancing office and home-based working.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Experience in statutory child protection services and care proceedings.
Strong knowledge of children's disability services and complex health needs.
Ability to work in a multi-agency environment to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
