An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Social Worker supporting the Staffordshire Children's Advice & Support (SCAS) team (Children's Front Door).

We are seeking a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Consultant Social Worker to support the which is situated within Staffordshire Safeguarding Integrated Front Door (SSIFD), where we work on a multi-agency basis providing a professional and quality telephone and web-based referral and signposting service.

Our service is focused and responsive to the needs of the County's vulnerable children and their families and will require you to have knowledge of Early Help, Safeguarding, Children in Care, Care Leavers, Fostering Services, Children with Disabilities and a sound knowledge of thresholds for services and intervention.

Good ICT skills & knowledge of electronic social care and other children's information systems are essential, as would be an understanding of the referral service operated by SCAS in Staffordshire.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly as required to manage the service effectively.


Essential Requirements:
* Must have a Degree in social work/ qualification equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience within Children Social work
* Social Work England Registration
