Hull City Council is seeking dedicated Social Workers to join our EHASH team.
Role Overview:
The EHASH team manages incoming childrens contacts requesting early help and childrens safeguarding support. This role involves screening these contacts to assess requests for support or concerns about childrens safety and welfare. As a Social Worker, you will analyze all relevant information with a focus on professional curiosity to ensure timely and robust decision-making, ensuring that children receive the right support at the right time.
Key responsibilities include:
- -Screening and analyzing contacts for childrens support requests.
- -Ensuring timely and robust decision-making.
- -Making decisions for children at risk of significant harm.
- -Collaborating with team managers to apply appropriate thresholds and progress to Strategy Discussion, considering if a Section 47 enquiry is required.
Pay Rate:
£35 per hour
