Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team at Peterborough City Council. This role involves completing assessments from referral stage and working with children and families in various situations, CP/CIN/CLA or Court proceedings.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation to be in the office at least 2 days a week, including Tuesdays for meetings and panels.
Pay rate upto £38 p/h (umbrella)
Responsibilities:
* Complete assessments from referral stage for children with disabilities aged 0-18.
* Work with children and families across various case types, including CIN, CP, CLA, PLO, and care proceedings.
* Handle private proceedings and deprivation of liberty cases within National DOL Court and the Court of Protection.
* Attend team meetings in person and be present in the office on duty days.
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant social work qualification and registration.
* Experience working with children with disabilities.
* Knowledge and experience in handling various case types, including CIN, CP, CLA, PLO, and care proceedings.
* Ability to work effectively in a hybrid role with office presence required at least 2 days a week.
