Peterborough County Council is looking for experienced Social Workers to join their team, offering a competitive pay rate of £40 per hour umbrella. This hybrid role requires local availability to respond to urgent safeguarding matters and involves handling complex Care Proceedings, Child Protection, and CIN cases.
Role Overview:
As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload that includes Care Proceedings, Child Protection, and complex CIN cases. You will ensure the effective safeguarding of vulnerable children through direct work, progressing plans, and conducting robust analyses. Your role will be crucial in protecting and supporting children in need.
Pay rate - £40P/H (umbrella)
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in safeguarding and working with children.
* Ability to manage complex caseloads and respond to urgent safeguarding matters.
* Strong analytical and direct work skills to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
* Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
