Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Adult Services team at the Bicester Children and Family Centre. This role involves assessing the needs of adults, developing and implementing intervention plans, and working collaboratively with other professionals to support the well-being and independence of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults to identify their needs and abilities.
Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to enhance the independence and quality of life of service users.
Provide expert advice and support to service users, their families, and carers.
Collaborate with other professionals, agencies, and service users to ensure holistic support.
Monitor and review intervention plans to ensure they remain effective and responsive to changing needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.
Participate in safeguarding investigations and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
Requirements:
Qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) with valid registration.
Proven experience in adult occupational therapy.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by adults in need of support.
Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
