Hull City Council - Team Manager Recruitment for EDT/EHASH Team
Hull City Council is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join our EDT/EHASH Team on an interim basis.
Role Overview:
- Current Review: We are undergoing an EHASH/EDT management review to consider the collective management of both teams.
- Interim Role: An Agency Team Manager is needed to support the operational management of both EHASH and EDT during this review period and until permanent recruitment is completed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and supervision to staff.
- Oversee incoming childrens contacts and manage the screening of concerns and support requests for children and young people.
- Chair Strategy meetings for children who are believed to have suffered or are at risk of suffering significant harm.
- Ensure timely allocation of support for children to the wider Early Help and Children Safeguarding Service.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Ability to make informed decisions and provide effective oversight.
- Pay Rate: £40 per hour.
