The London Borough of Newham is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Educational Psychologist to join our dynamic team on an interim basis. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and provide comprehensive reports.
Develop and implement intervention strategies to support the educational and emotional needs of students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create inclusive educational environments.
Provide training and support to school staff on psychological issues.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan for the needs of students.
Requirements:
Qualified Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration.
Previous experience working within an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to promoting inclusive practices and educational equality.
