Location: West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre, Selly Oak, Birmingham
Position: Part-Time Band 7 Occupational Therapist
Hours: 08:30-16:30 (30 hours per week), Tuesday - Friday
Contract Duration: 9th September 2024 - 2nd December 2024
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our team at the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre in Selly Oak. This role involves providing comprehensive OT assessment and intervention services across a range of specialized clinics. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed Occupational Therapy assessments and deliver targeted interventions within the following clinics:
Neuromuscular Clinic
Non-Traumatic Spinal Injury Clinic
Young Adults Clinic
Multiple Sclerosis Clinic
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Provide expert advice and support to patients, families, and caregivers to enhance patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with professional and organizational standards.
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Experience working at Band 7 level, preferably within the specialized clinics listed above.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and care planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently with minimal supervision.
