Accountable to: Team Lead
Professionally Responsible to: Physiotherapy Professional Lead
Hours: 7-day working rota, shifts covering 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Community Physiotherapist (Band 6) to join our team at Carlisle and District ICC. This role is integral in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring seamless rehabilitation services across various settings.
Job Summary:
As a Senior Community Physiotherapist, you will work in accordance with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Rules of Professional Conduct and Health & Care Professions Council Regulations. You will play a key role in our multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with health and social care professionals to provide integrated care that meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Work independently to assess patients, develop, and implement individualized rehabilitation and care plans across community and other settings.
Education and Advice: Provide expert advice and education to patients, carers, and colleagues to support effective rehabilitation.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with professional and Trust standards.
Management and Supervision: Carry out delegated management tasks, including line management and clinical supervision of other team members.
Flexible Working: Participate in a 7-day working rota, with shifts covering the hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, to meet the needs of the patient group.

Requirements:
Registered Physiotherapist with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and HCPC.
Proven experience in community physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as part of a rota system.
