Rotherham is seeking a part-time Fostering Panel Advisor to join their service.
Role overview
The Fostering Panel Advisor is responsible for managing the Fostering Panel and the new Long-Term Matching Fostering Panel. In this role, the advisor provides professional fostering expertise and guidance to the fostering service and the Agency Decision Maker. Key responsibilities include quality assurance, overseeing the collation and presentation of all reports and paperwork for Panels, and ensuring that panel procedures comply with the Fostering National Minimum Standards.
The Fostering Panel Advisor collaborates closely with the Panel Admin team to ensure the smooth operation of the panel meetings. Additionally, the advisor leads the updating of key fostering documents, such as the Annual Report, Foster Carer Handbook, Policies and Procedures, and the Quality Assurance (QA) framework for both the Panel and the Fostering Service.
