We are looking for an experienced Social worker to join Childrens Leaving care team for Wrexham County Council.
Agile working with 2 days per week in the office.
You will be committed to corporate parenting, relationships-based practice as the driver of positive outcomes and transitions. Trauma informed approaches will be at the heart of your practice. We will also expect you to model best practice and mentor workers within the team. You will be joining an established, high performing team with excellent support. We aspire to build an even better service following on from our 2024 CIW visit the Leaving Care Team were acknowledged for the positive relationships built between social workers and our young people.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 2 years experience as a social worker within childrens services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
