Excellent rates of pay up to £35ph. 3- 6 month minimum contract with options to extend. Full and part time positions available. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker to work as a senior practitioner. Roles available in a number of locations across the county. The successful candidate will have a key role in the work of the Safeguarding Adults team, working with an extensive multi-agency professional network to protect adults from abuse or neglect. You will be involved in comprehensive assessments and safeguarding work that will identify real outcomes for our customers that will enable them to remain as independent as they are able within their community.
Responsibilities comprise the following:
* Working with service users and their families/ carers to plan, organise and be responsible for case co-ordination and implementation of care & protection plans.
* To ensure an effective and consistent approach to Safeguarding Adults Services in relation to the application of relevant legislation and guidance.
* To ensure Safeguarding Adults Services comply with statutory duties within the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act and codes of practice.
* To ensure the Multi Agency Safeguarding Adults Policy & Procedures are followed.
* To support the locality teams with high profile, complex or sensitive cases.
* To provide specialist advice, guidance and support to managers and practitioners across the partnerships in relation to safeguarding adults from abuse and neglect.
* To chair multi agency meetings.
* To participate in the Screening and Triage service operated by the team.
* To work closely with locality teams and management to deliver person-centred outcomes to service users who are or may be at risk of experiencing abuse or neglect.
* To support the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) service as required.
