Social Worker required for work within the Looked After Children's & Court Team in the Mendip area of Somerset. Long Term contracts in beautiful. 37 hrs a week with flexible working & 9 day fortnights.. Competitive rates of pay to £38ph. The team has a strong management structure. Based in Mendip hub is in the centre of Shepton Mallet, nestled in the Mendip Hills close to Glastonbury, Frome and Bath.

Working in CLA you will have the opportunity to support profound changes to a child's life, building long term relationships to see them through their journey. Within the Mendip team, there is also the potential to access training to develop an expertise in work with asylum seeking young people.
We promote flexible working within our CLA teams and will consider part time, 9 day fortnight and other flexible working approaches.
Our offices in Mendip are located in Shepton Mallet, just a short drive from both Frome and Glastonbury and easily accessible from Bath, Wiltshire and North Somerset with parking on site.
