We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Lead Occupational Therapist to spearhead the development and implementation of a Trusted Assessor Framework across Health and Social Care in South West London. This pivotal role will support and enhance the skills of trusted assessors, ensuring they can effectively prescribe equipment and adaptations that maximize independence for vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Framework Development: Create and implement a Trusted Assessor Framework that improves the knowledge, skills, and competencies of assessors across South West London.
Standard Operating Procedures: Develop procedures for equipment prescribed by Trusted Assessors, ensuring consistency and quality across services.
Training and Development: Forge connections with training providers to ensure trusted assessor training aligns with the needs of our partners.
Evaluation and Reporting: Assess the effectiveness of the framework using outcome measures, report on key performance indicators, and gather feedback from residents to inform and improve the service.
Support and Supervision: Provide direct support through forums, joint work, and supervision of trusted assessors. Line manage and supervise a Senior Occupational Therapist assisting with this project.
Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with partners across Health and Social Care, reporting to the Principal/Lead Occupational Therapist with monthly supervision and guidance.

Requirements:
Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Experience in developing and implementing frameworks, ideally within Health and Social Care settings.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and travel across South West London as required.
