Team Manager required to work for the Adult Team in the Bristol city council. £40h on long term contracts.2/3 days a week in the office, 2 days is the Bristol City Council minimum so this needs to be met.
Are you an experienced social work professional ready to take on a leadership role? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Team Manager to join our Adult Services team in South Bristol.
About the Role:
As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a busy social work team, including senior practitioners, social workers, and unregulated practitioners. You will provide case direction and support, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to processes. Additionally, you will oversee governance and best value, utilizing tier one and two services to optimize outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Support: Oversee and supervise senior practitioners, social workers, and unregulated practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure effective case management. Duty Management: Cover duty management one week in every four, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery during this period. Case Direction: Provide case direction and support to ensure that social work practices are in line with best practice guidelines and legal requirements. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and that all processes are followed correctly. Governance & Best Value: Monitor and manage governance practices within the team, ensuring best value is achieved through the effective use of tier one and two services.
About You:
Proven experience in managing a social work team, preferably within adult services.
Strong understanding of social work practices, governance, and quality assurance.
Ability to provide clear direction and support to a diverse team of social workers and practitioners.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Enhanced Child and Aesses.dult DBS is required.
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
