Shropshire is seeking two qualified and experienced Social Workers to join the Case Management Teams for a minimum of 6 months. The teams benefit from stable and permanent Team Managers and Service Manager, and a strong supportive legal and admin team. Caseloads are capped based on complexity.
Candidates need to be experienced and able to work autonomously. Candidates need to have experience of working with children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection Plans as well as those in PLO and the court arena. Candidates need a sound understanding of the statutory legislation within which we work.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
