Position: Qualified Social Worker (Whole Life Disability)
Pay Rate: £33 per hour
Location: Nottingham
Contract Type: Full-time, placements available for two Social Workers
Overview:
We are seeking two full-time Qualified Social Workers to join the Whole Life Disability team in Nottingham. This role involves working with adults with learning disabilities in specialist residential homes, conducting assessments, and delivering care plans in accordance with the Care Act 2014. This is an excellent opportunity for social workers who are experienced in safeguarding and working with adults with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and reviews within specialist residential homes for adults with learning disabilities.
Create and implement care plans based on the citizen's assessed needs.
Ensure all work is in line with the Care Act 2014, employing a strengths-based approach.
Undertake safeguarding enquiries and interventions, maintaining a high standard of safeguarding practice.
Demonstrate a strong understanding and practical experience of Direct Payments.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration.
Experience working with adults with learning disabilities.
Solid understanding of the Care Act 2014 and strengths-based working.
Knowledge and experience in safeguarding adults.
Familiarity with Direct Payments and their implementation.
