The Role:
As a Children's Social Worker in the Kinship & Fostering Team, you will:
* Assess Connected Person Foster Carers: Conduct thorough and analytical assessments of prospective carers.
* Support & Supervise: Provide ongoing supervision and support to approved connected foster carers.
* Private Fostering & Special Guardianship: Work with private fostering arrangements and offer post-order support to Special Guardians.
* Deliver High-Quality Reports: Provide comprehensive and analytical reports for court within set timescales.
* Contribute to Improvement: Be part of Herefordshire's journey to enhance services and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Your Profile:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Qualifications: DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years in statutory social care, ideally in Kinship & Fostering.
* Skills: Strong assessment and supervision abilities with the capacity to produce detailed and analytical reports.
* Passion for Impact: A commitment to improving the lives of children, young people, and carers.

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
