Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team in Stoke-on-Trent. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. Your work will involve collaborating with families, carers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children in care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse caseload of children and young people in care.
* Conduct assessments to inform care planning and decision-making.
* Develop, implement, and review care plans in partnership with children, families, and professionals.
* Ensure that the voice of the child is central to all planning and interventions.
* Prepare and present reports for court proceedings and attend court as required.
* Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Proven experience in childrens social care, preferably within a Children in Care or similar team.
* Strong assessment and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
