Job Title: Team Manager - Children in Care (CIC) Team
Location: Bradford Children and Families Trust
Pay Rate: £40 per hour (umbrella)
Bradford Children and Families Trust is looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to join their Children in Care (CIC) Team. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for children in care. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Children in Care (CIC) Team, ensuring the team delivers high-quality care and support to children and young people in the care system.
* Supervise and support social workers, providing guidance on case management, complex cases, and statutory requirements.
* Ensure the team meets all regulatory and statutory requirements in line with safeguarding legislation.
* Develop and implement effective care plans for children in care, ensuring that all needs are met, and outcomes are achieved.
* Collaborate with internal and external agencies, including health, education, and legal professionals, to provide the best possible support to children in care.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions and team meetings to ensure continuous improvement in practice and service delivery.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices within children's services.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
* Proven experience in managing and leading a team, ideally within a Children in Care (CIC) team or similar child protection setting.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of children's safeguarding legislation and statutory requirements.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage complex cases and workloads while ensuring the team meets performance targets and statutory deadlines.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in child protection services.
