Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Family Help Team

Pay Rate: £45 per hour
About the Role
Norfolk's Family Help Team is looking for a dedicated Senior Social Worker to provide critical support and interventions to children, young people, and families. The Family Help Team is at the forefront of early intervention, aiming to provide preventative support and tackle issues before they escalate. You will work with families to build resilience, reduce risks, and achieve sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake assessments of children and families to identify needs and formulate effective support plans.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to deliver targeted interventions.
Lead on complex cases, providing expert guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff.
Implement evidence-based practices to support early help strategies.
Manage risk effectively, ensuring all interventions prioritize child safety and well-being.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory guidelines.
Represent the team in meetings and case conferences, presenting clear and concise reports.
Requirements
Social Work England registration and a relevant social work qualification.
Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in children and families services.
Strong knowledge of early intervention approaches and child safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a complex caseload.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary setting.
