Social Worker & Enhanced Practitioner Roles in Durham - Children in Care Teams
We have exciting opportunities for experienced Social Workers and Enhanced Practitioners to join Durham's Children in Care Teams. These roles offer the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families, with excellent support and development opportunities.
Available Roles:
1.Social Worker - Connecting Families Team.
Focus on achieving legal permanence for children placed at home or with connected carers.
Caseload: 20-22 children.
2.Social Worker - Children in Care Team 4
Supporting children aged 0-18 years through their trauma and progression to adulthood.
Caseload: 22-25 children.
3.Enhanced Practitioner - Children in Care Service
Reduced caseload (15-18 children) to support social workers completing their ASYE.
Team focus on children placed under Care Orders or Voluntary Accommodation.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registration.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving license.
- Social Work Qualification (degree or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services.
