Leicester City Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead the Locality East Supported Residents Care Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our dedicated team, supporting adults and residents with complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership and management to a team of social workers and care professionals.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services in line with statutory frameworks and local policies.
Manage team performance to ensure outcomes meet the needs of service users, promoting independence and wellbeing.
Monitor and manage caseloads, ensuring compliance with statutory timescales and regulations.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, stakeholders, and partner agencies to deliver integrated care solutions.
Ensure effective safeguarding practices, risk management, and adherence to best practices in care provision.
Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Essential Requirements
Professional qualification in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
Proven experience in managing adult social care teams or similar services.
Strong understanding of adult safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage resources, budgets, and performance effectively.
Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in service delivery.
