Are you a dedicated and experienced Social Worker looking for a rewarding role in Child Protection? Bradford Children and Families Trust is hiring a skilled Social Worker to join our Children and Families Team, specializing in Child Protection (CP) and Child in Need (CIN) cases.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families while earning a competitive pay rate of £35 per hour (umbrella).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children and families under Child Protection (CP) and Child in Need (CIN) plans.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure children's safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement care plans that promote positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to deliver comprehensive support.
- Attend Child Protection conferences, core group meetings, and court hearings, providing detailed reports and evidence.
- Maintain accurate case records in line with statutory requirements and local policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Experience in Child Protection (CP) and safeguarding, handling complex cases.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
