About the Role:

Southwark Council is seeking a fully qualified and HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist with proven experience working within a UK local authority service. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working directly with children, young people, families, and school staff across various educational and other settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct direct, in-person work with children, young people, families, and school staff to assess and support educational needs.

Provide psychological assessments, interventions, and guidance to promote positive learning outcomes.

Collaborate with schools and other educational settings to develop effective strategies and support plans.

Work in line with relevant legislation and best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development within the local authority.

Requirements:

HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist.

Fully qualified with a recognised Doctorate or Masters in Educational Psychology.

Recent, successful experience working in a UK local authority service, evidenced by strong references.

Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills.

Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and educational settings.
