Experienced Social Worker - Cared For Children (LAC/CIC) - Cheshire East Council

Are you a dedicated Children's Social Worker looking for your next opportunity? Cheshire East Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Cared For Children's (LAC/CIC) service. If you have a passion for supporting Looked After Children and improving their outcomes, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of Looked After Children
* Conducting Core Assessments & Risk Assessments
* Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries
* Completing Viability, Kinship & Special Guardian Assessments
* Preparing & implementing Care Plans
* Liaising with partner agencies to support children and families
* Attending court & giving evidence when required
* Initiating & completing Care Proceedings
* Producing Annex B reports & Child Permanency Reports

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work England registration
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years experience in Childrens Social Care
* Full UK driving license & access to own vehicle
