Nottingham City Council is currently recruiting experienced Social Workers to join their Fieldwork Teams, working with Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC). Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with children, young people, and families to assess needs and provide targeted interventions.
- Manage cases involving Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC), ensuring timely and effective support.
- Undertake court work when required, preparing reports and representing the child's best interests.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each child and family.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with registration under Social Work England.
- Experience in CIN, CP, and CIC teams, working with children aged 0-18.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively while ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
