Senior Practitioner - Adult Safeguarding (Remote) - £32 per hour
? Location: Remote (You do not need to live in Bristol)

? Work Mode: Desktop triage position - Remote working with meetings via Teams
About the Role
Bristol City Council is seeking a Senior Practitioner to join our Adult Safeguarding Team in a fully remote, desktop-based triage role. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent decision-making, IT proficiency, and strong safeguarding experience. You will be responsible for handling complex cases, attending virtual meetings, and ensuring compliance with The Care Act 2014.
About the Team
Our Safeguarding Adults Team is a dynamic group of 18 professionals, including Social Care Practitioners, Social Workers, and Senior Practitioners. We play a crucial role in triaging over 650 safeguarding referrals per month, forming part of Bristol City Council's front-door service for adult safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
? Protection & Prevention: Work in partnership with adults at risk to help them protect themselves from harm and abuse, taking fast-paced preventive measures to reduce risk.
? Promoting Wellbeing: Ensure individuals wishes and feelings are considered, always aiming to promote their well-being.
? Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with partner agencies to ensure a comprehensive safeguarding approach, including holding partners accountable and monitoring outcomes.
? Training & Leadership: Provide guidance and training on safeguarding, promoting a culture of safety and high-quality care.
? Monitoring & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to monitor safeguarding trends, identify risks, and take appropriate action.
What We're Looking For
? Experienced in Safeguarding - A strong understanding of adult safeguarding practices and legislation.
? Confident with IT & Remote Working - Ability to work independently, attend virtual meetings, and handle online casework effectively.
? Fast-Paced Decision Maker - Able to work efficiently in a high-volume triage setting.
? Strong Leadership & Collaboration Skills - Comfortable working with multi-agency partners and providing training when needed.
