Team Manager required on a Child in Need and Child Protection Service in Knowsley Council.
Role Includes
* Overall management of Social Workers and Deputy Team Managers
* Providing regular supervision to Social Workers
* Ensuring all members of the team received regular supervision where applicable
* Case allocation
* Regularly assessing caseloads
* Providing consultation on complex cases
* Managing Section 17 budget
* Managing Section 47 budget
* Managing Section 20 budget
* Managing staffing budget
* Investigating complaints and disciplinary matters in accordance with corporate and divisional procedures
* Chairing Strategy Meetings
* Chairing Professional Meetings
* Chairing LAC Review Conferences
* Managing Duty System
* Accompanying Social Workers on home visits for monitoring and support purposes
* Attending court and giving evidence when required
* Auditing files
* Quality assuring all work produced by the team
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 2 years' experience as a Team Manager within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
