Bury Council is seeking a dedicated OT to provide high-quality interventions that support individuals in living safely and independently at home while facilitating timely hospital discharges.
Role Overview:
Assess individuals receiving care packages to ensure they meet their needs.
Provide expert interventions to promote independence at home.
Support hospital discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions.
Specialize in single-handed care, moving & handling techniques.
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy & HPC registration.
Minimum 2 years' experience working with older people, mental health, or physical disabilities.
Strong decision-making, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to build rapport and encourage confidence in service users.
Awareness of health & safety and PPE compliance.
