Durham is currently seeking a full-time Subject Access Request Officer for an initial three-month period. This role is ideal for a qualified social worker with a keen eye for detail and experience in handling sensitive data within legal and regulatory frameworks.
Payrate:- £207 Per Day (UMB)
Key Responsibilities:
-Process Subject Access Requests in line with Data Protection Act and GDPR.
-Locate, access, and extract information from digital records.
-Redact third-party and sensitive information for compliance.
-Liaise with internal departments to obtain relevant documentation.
-Maintain accurate records and provide expert guidance on data protection and information governance.
Essential Criteria:
-Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).
-Current Social Work England Registration and completion of ASYE.
-Experience in records management, data protection, or similar roles.
-Strong working knowledge of GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data -securely.
