Job Advert: Qualified Social Worker - Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (BANES)
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Older Adults Community Mental Health Team in Bath and North East Somerset (BANES).

Pay Rate: £38 per hour (LTD)
Contract Type: Locum
Role Overview:
As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be working within the Older Adults Community Mental Health Team, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. The role requires a strong understanding of older adults mental health and experience in assessments, care planning, and multi-agency working to provide high-quality support and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Care Act assessments and develop person-centred support plans
Work collaboratively with health professionals, carers, and families
Manage a caseload of older adults with mental health conditions
Undertake safeguarding investigations and mental capacity assessments
Provide advice and support to individuals to promote independence and well-being
Ensure compliance with Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Care Act 2014
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Experience working with older adults in a mental health setting
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, MCA, and relevant legislation
Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
