We are currently seeking a Corporate Parenting Coordinator for a 6-month assignment with Bradford Children and Families Trust.
Details of the role:
Amending the structure of the Corporate Parenting Panel to move from being a formal Panel to an advisory Board within the Council's constitution. Cllr Duffy requested a copy of the legal advice provided on this matter.
- Implementing the "offer" from the Dept of Place and improving the local offer more generally.
- Work with Adam Glennon to improve children's participation in service development and decision making across the Council and Trust.
- Progressing the Corporate Parenting Strategy for discussion at the next meeting of the Corporate Parenting Panel.
- Development of the Partnership Parenting Advisory Group as part of the corporate parenting governance structure.
- Follow up on the outstanding actions relating to the training offer from the LGA.
- Administration of the Corporate Parenting Panel, development of a forward plan.
- Oversight of progress against the Takeaway Themes agreed at the young people led meetings.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 2-3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
