The Children's ACCESS Team (MASH) in South Gloucestershire are recruiting a highly motivated and talented Advanced Social Worker with experience in Children's Services to join their team in Yate. As a temporary member of staff you will be considered an integral part of this team. PART TIME 29.6 hours over 4 days, 3 month+ contracts on a rate of £41ph.

Every day they work with families to help children and young people who have had a difficult start in life achieve their ambitions. They listen to young people and put them at the heart of everything they do. Working in partnership with families, they equip them with the skills they need to ensure young people live in happy, healthy and safe homes.

* You will be responsible for triaging referrals coming into the team regarding children and young people with welfare concerns.
* In this non-case holding role, you will also be applying threshold for Universal Service, Early Help and Social Care in a rapid and timely manner.
* Daily, you will be dealing with professionals and parents by telephone.
* It will be key for you to keep accurate and detailed information that can be used by other members of the team and departments within Children Services.
* We require you to be a qualified Social Worker with relevant registration to practice (SWE Social Work England).
* You will have already successfully completed your ASYE (where qualifying since 2012) and have substantial post qualifying experience in a children's services role.
* Given the elements of this role you will be used to solving problems, be confident about making important decisions and are passionate about working with children, young people and families to meet their goals and aspirations.
* You will be able demonstrate specialist knowledge of the relevant services, including latest service developments, legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
Ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
