We are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join the First Response Team within the Adults service in BANES. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead a team, ensuring timely and effective responses to the needs of adults in crisis situations.
As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the First Response Team, ensuring high-quality services are provided to vulnerable adults. You will lead and support your team, ensuring they are equipped to make informed decisions and provide the best care possible. This is not an IRO role but a leadership position within the First Response team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the First Response Team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ensure the effective delivery of adult safeguarding, care, and support services.
Supervise and provide guidance to a team of social workers and support staff.
Provide direction and oversight for complex cases, ensuring all required assessments and interventions are completed.
Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide integrated services for adults in need.
Manage casework and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.
Ensure team members are supported with their professional development and performance.
Requirements:
Previous experience in adult social care, with a strong understanding of the challenges within first response teams.
Experience in managing a team and providing leadership.
Ability to manage a caseload, deal with complex cases, and provide timely and effective responses to adults in crisis.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices and legislative frameworks.
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
