We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Adult Safeguarding Team in Nottinghamshire. This role focuses on safeguarding vulnerable adults, assessing risk, and ensuring that service users receive the necessary support and protection.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake adult safeguarding investigations, including Section 42 enquiries.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure appropriate interventions.
Assess risk and develop protection plans in line with relevant legislation.
Provide strengths-based, person-centred interventions to promote independence.
Apply the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and other safeguarding frameworks.
Complete detailed case recordings and reports to support decision-making.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with at least 2 years of experience in Adult Safeguarding.
Registered with Social Work England.
Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practices.
Experience in multi-agency working and risk assessments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
