About the Role:
As a Qualified Social Worker within the South Neighbourhood Team, you will:
Conduct social work assessments and interventions using a strength-based and person-centred approach.
Secure appropriate levels of funding where necessary in line with the Reshaping Trafford Policy.
Provide an effective response to safeguarding enquiries in accordance with the Care Act and local policies.
Manage a caseload effectively, balancing workload demands and team responsibilities.
Engage in preventative conversations and outcome-focused interventions to support individuals.
Work collaboratively with other disciplines and local health and social care services to ensure a coordinated response to the local population.
Contribute to a duty rota, responding to urgent cases and crisis situations.
Support and learn from colleagues through peer collaboration, making the most of the team's diverse range of experience.
About You:
We are looking for a Social Worker who:
Is motivated to challenge existing ways of working and improve services.
Understands the importance of continuous development in social care.
Is enthusiastic about adopting outcome-focused and strengths-based assessments.
Values peer support and learning within a team environment.
Is committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
Has experience working in a statutory Adult Social Care service.
Holds a recognised Social Work qualification (Level 3 candidates must have completed the ASYE programme).
