An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist to join the Children and Families team at Nottinghamshire County Council, based at Caudwell House. We are seeking a motivated professional with a passion for supporting children and young people to achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess the functional needs of children and young people within their homes and educational settings
Develop person-centred plans and provide appropriate equipment and adaptations
Collaborate with families, education staff, and health professionals
Deliver interventions that support development, independence, and inclusion
Maintain accurate case records and contribute to multi-agency planning
What We're Looking For:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
Experience working with children and families in social care, education, or health settings
Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to child-focused, outcome-driven practice
