Nottingham City Council is looking for experienced Qualified Social Workers (QSWs) to join their Fieldwork Teams, working across Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Children in Care (CIC), and Court Work.

About the Role:
As a frontline Social Worker, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children across the city. This role spans various service areas, providing meaningful and varied work:
Child Protection
Child in Need
Children in Care
Court Proceedings
You'll work directly with children, young people, and families to deliver child-focused interventions and drive better outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload involving CP, CIN, CIC, and court-related work.
Conduct risk assessments and create clear, outcome-focused plans.
Engage in direct work with children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
Prepare high-quality reports for court and attend proceedings when required.
Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to deliver holistic support.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience within Local Authority settings.
Solid background in CP/CIN/Court/CIC.
Confident, empathetic, and resilient in high-pressure situations.
Strong report-writing and communication skills.
