Social Worker required to join as an Team Manager for work within Cardiff Council in the Wales Cardiff area for PLO/Court Team.. . The successful candidate will: facilitate the learning and develop of others through group supervision, support and guidance of other practitioners in matters relating to PLO and Court .Pay rate - 51.38ph
The role offers the suitable candidate an alternative specialist practitioner career development pathway that requires them to offer leadership to others through their practice rather than through the management of the team. It is anticipated that this role will be attractive to those practitioners who may have left permanent employment within Local Authorities to pursue their career as an independent or agency Social Worker or maybe within civil service Social Work roles.
The successful candidate will:
Evidence expert knowledge and skills of work within the Public Law Outline and through their own practice ensure that children remain with family wherever it is safe to do so and the child is happy.
Be the case holder of complex court work
facilitate the learning and develop of others through group supervision, support and guidance of other practitioners in matters relating to PLO and Court.

In addition to being the case holder of complex court work the appointee will facilitate the learning and develop of others through group supervision, support and guidance of other practitioners in matters relating to PLO and Court.
The successful candidate will join an established management team which they will work alongside to support through their role as a panel member and have an influential voice in decisions relating to cases entering and exiting PLO, issuing of Care proceedings and decision making at the conclusion of Care proceedings.
Ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
