Locum Adults Social Worker - Reading Borough Council
Team: Physical Disability and Older People (PDOP)
Rate: £38 per hour
Contract: Locum

Reading Borough Council is looking for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join the PDOP Team within the Living Well Service. This multidisciplinary team supports adults 18+ with long-term physical disabilities and individuals aged 65+.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Care Act assessments and support planning
Working collaboratively with partner agencies
Promoting independence through a strengths-based approach

Requirements:

Experience in adult safeguarding
Confidence in Mental Capacity Assessments
Ideally, experience in court work and Court of Protection applications
Strong understanding of relevant legislation
