Role: Motor Vehicle Technician

Eden Brown are looking to recruit a Technical Support Officer to work within the automotive department for a leading further education college in Greater Manchester.
About the Role:
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will support the delivery of practical learning in our fully equipped automotive workshops. You will assist lecturers in preparing and maintaining vehicles and equipment, ensuring a safe and effective environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain workshop equipment, tools, and vehicles
* Assist with practical demonstrations and support students during hands-on activities
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
* Support the set-up of assessments and maintain workshop records
What We're Looking For:
* Relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle or Automotive Engineering
* Industry experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic beneficial
* Strong practical and organisational skills
* A team player with a proactive attitude
Previous experience in an educational or training environment (desirable but not essential)
A DBS will be needed for this role. If you do not have a DBS Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
